Food & Beverage: I had a variety of hors d'oeuvres and all the ingredients for guests to make my signature cocktail, J's Birthday Cake. Two recipe cards were placed with the alcohol and mixers at the bar area. Jello shots were also made and offered to guests along with strawberry-basil infused water. On the invitations, I had requested for my guests to bring along a beverage of their choice just in case they wouldn't like what we provided.

Theme: All about J theme. Celebrating and enjoying each-other's company.
Games? YES!
Game # 1: Color Me a J decorating contest. Guests were given a letter J enclosed with their party invitations. Guests are requested to decorate letter J and party goers would vote and choose their favorite J during the party.
Color Me a J decorating contest --The Bottle Cap J won and is displayed on my dresser still to this day.
Game # 2: J Words. Guests were greeted with a bowl full of strips of paper with words that began with the letter J and a colored paper clip attached. Party goers could only ask yes or no questions to guess the J word that a person received. If guessed correctly, the other would relinquish their colored paper clip to correct guesser. Points were determined by the colors of paper clips, for example the green paper clip was worth 3 point as the word was more difficult to guess. Guest with the most paper clips and points at a certain time would win. I really like this game because it gets my guests to interact with one another.
Game # 3: Find the Candles: I hid a bunch of cake candles throughout our house and the guest who found the most by a certain time during the evening, won!
Along with the interactive games above, we also had Playstation's Singstar game which is similar to Karaoke and a poker table was set up in another room.

* Little plastic cups for Jello shots
Attire: Casual-- I did not have a dress code. I, however, wore a dark navy blue corset top, bell-bottom denim jeans, navy blue cork wedges and a crystal drop choker necklace.

To Do:
* Cut out letter J's and send with invitations.
* Make list and cut J words into strips attach to appropriate colored paper clips.
* Make J's Birthday Cake recipe cards
* Make voting box and voter cards for decorating contest.
* Wrap prize gifts.
* Clean and rearrange nest.
* Make Jello shots, prep food, cook and bake.
* Hide Cake Candles.
* Get Ready.
* HAVE FUN!!!
