It was decided early on that this year’s ‘sister shoot’ would be a Practical Magic green witchy theme, in celebration of the 28-year reunion of the Owens sisters and the upcoming release of Practical Magic 2. We enjoyed the last morsels of Summer with an enchanting picnic and some Midday MARGARITAS!! The weather did a full 180-degree spin in our favor, and the sky showed off during golden hour. Why, it was practically magical. Many silly moments during our shoot, and luck was certainly on our side throughout. We were even visited by a furry familiar. And the film? Well, it was everything we could have witched for. 10/10

Ladies Night In
What began as a "You haven't seen (fill in the blank) movie?!" has since turned into a Girls Night In weekly movie. Sometimes we get creative with tasty drinks or new food recipes. Mia also joins us, occasionally with her own fancy vessel of h2o.

Agent J's Nationwide Yogi Tea Party
In 2013, as a New Year's gift, I sent out over a 100 Yogi Teas to all the lovely ladies in my life around the country. I called it J's Tea Party. The invitation was a picture of my precious, then four-year-old, Frenchie, Mia having a tea party of her own. Inside I requested my ladies to RSVP to my tea party by taking a moment to enjoy the tea and capture a photo of their Yogi Tea bag tag. So as part of their luck for the New Year, they received wise words of wisdom each chosen randomly. I collected all the photos and placed them in a private online photo album again titled J's Tea Party. I added the following album description:
"I gifted cups of tea to ladies all over the country. This album displays their personal Yogi Tea bag tags received from me and records the date they joined my tea party."
I very much enjoy Yogi Teas; I am a bonafide Yogi. I occasionally share my Yogi Tea bag tags with my friends by posting a photo or a status update on my facebook wall, and recently I published a post in the Ramble On blog titled I'm a Yogi. I cannot truthfully say where or why the idea for my national tea party came to me. I do know that once it was in my head, I went straight to work writing the invitation greeting, compiling my guest list, purchasing all the boxes of Yogi Teas, planning and executing the photoshoot for the invitation, and getting the invitation created and ordered from VistaPrint. Once the invitations arrived, I spent an entire Sunday afternoon randomly adhering tea packages to the cards and addressing the envelopes. The entire process took about a month once the idea was placed into action. At times throughout the process I wondered if my girl friends would be confused and that my gifted cups of tea would not be so well received. But I kept moving forward. And boy am I glad I continued as the response was overwhelming positive and it warmed my heart that such a small gesture, like a single bag of tea, could demonstrate my love to someone near or far. So I decided I would make it an annual event.
"You're invited to a tea party!
Dear friend,
Tis the season for giving and receiving gifts from the heart. My gift to you, a nice hot cup of tea. And rather than making yet another NewYears resolution; attached to your Yogi Tea bag tag you will find thoughtful words of wisdom. As you may know, Yogi Tea is my absolute favorite not only for their variety of choice flavors but also for their inspiring phrases. I enjoy sharing my tag inspirations with you virtually, occasionally with a photo of such or as a status update. I'd very much like to see what you received and catalog on an online album. If you'd like to partake in the fun, simply email or send me a facebook message with your image attached. Now your photo can be as artsy-fartsy or as simple as you'd like. My only request is that your Yogi Tea bag tag be visible and legible. Please also include the date you steeped your gifted cup of tea. You are receiving this today because your existence is important to me. And I conjured up this brilliant way to reach out to you and say so.
Now won't you join me for a nice cup of tea?"
