A Bright Idea * Teacup Table Lamp
I had a crazy amount of tea pots and tea cups due to my Mother treasure hunting at the thrift shops, then secretly dropping her finds off at my doorstep. I wasn't too sure what do to with them but knew I needed to find something cool and clever. So I began to search online, key-wording teapot home decor ideas. I stumbled upon a fellow DIYer's blog, Vintage Revivals, on how to make a teacup lamp similar to one I had on my want-list from Anthropology. But I couldn't find a justifiable reason to shell out almost $200.00 for one table lamp.

Since I had been on the prowl for a suitable lamp for my bedside table, I thought this was a brilliant idea. I called upon two other crafty friends to partake in the project, AgenT, her preteen daughter and our dear friend, C. C's husband just happens to be in the lighting business specializing in custom-made chandeliers, so he was there to lend us a hand. We even got to do this project in his shop. Because we had all the tools and equipment needed, we made our own lamp kits. However you can purchase a lamp kit at your local hardware store.
This particular DIY project was one of the most rewarding for me. I enjoy walking into my bedroom and seeing this amazing piece, that I made.
