I will post a new month on the 1st of each month. Most of the photos align with a major very well-known and celebrated holiday that occurs during that specific month. Others are secret easter eggs that honour some not-so-well-known national/international holidays., with a few inspirational people’s bdays and/or paying tribute to character premieres. Trust me there’s a wicked cleverness to my madness. We can make a game of it. In the description of the photo, I will indicate how many "secret" holidays/events/people we're celebrating. Keep in mind not every photo represents a holiday. Some could just go with the particular season too. You are welcome to play along by sharing your answers in the comments. There are no prizes and no winners, it's a just-for-fun scavenger hunt. Participation is completely voluntary and there will be no hard feelings if there are no takers too.
Anyway, in January we simply showcased our New Year celebrations throughout the years. Nothing to sleuth out there. But stay tuned because February is just around the corner.
Again from the tip-top to the very bottom of my heart, thank you! Thank you for all the love you have shown to our beloved calendar girl. It means the world to me.

August 2022
August has always been a challenging month to fill for our Mia calendars. It's the beginning of the end of Summer vacation for most, it's usually the start of the fire season in our neck of the woods and it's generally too hot to enjoy those last bits of the season with the heat and terrible air quality. So it's been difficult to place a specific image to represent the month each year. But with that being said, we were able to fill in all sorts of gaps with the random photos we have collected over the years. Therefore there are 9 different national/international holidays and events we are paying tribute to during the month of August. A few images just represent Mia enjoying her Summer.
Answer:
Usually, the end of August is Back To School. So Mia dressed up as a teacher's pet and we did a first day of school shoot.

September 2022
In September we celebrated Mia’s Gotcha Day. September 27th, 2008 was the day we picked up our little coconut and brought her to her forever home. I believe it’s also my favorite month for many different reasons. It was what I missed the most while living in CA, a true Fall season. I really wanted to add the photo of Mia on a walk in what looks like a picturesque Autumn dreamscape. The photo took up quite a bit of room. So we are paying tribute to just 6 different national/international holidays and/or events during the month of September.

Hello October. My second favorite month. It's the month when dressing up is an absolute must. We hope you enjoy looking back at some of Mia's spooktacular photos. There are just TWO, that's right, 2 oddballs mixed in. Hint, one is honouring somebody's birthday and another is paying tribute to a very specific and well-known date, well to most of us that is.
Answer:
10-03 Mean Girls Day
10-23 “Weird Al” Yankovic’s Birthday

Anyhoo, can you guess which birthday, holiday, and events we’re celebrating during the month of November?

December 2022
The final month before we close out our Mia So Frenchie calendars for good. I’m late publishing this because my computer crashed and I thought I had lost these photos forever. Thankfully some wizards were able to perform some actual IT magic and restore all of my files. It would be an understatement to say it was a roller coaster of emotions these past 3-4 weeks.
Ok, now for the last calendar month, December we mostly looked back to some of our favorite Christmas and holiday photos. But aside from the obvious, we also our honouring two (2) other events. Can you guess which ones?
