I am a crafty lady. I like to discover and create, surprising myself with what ideas I can dream up and then manifest into reality - useful reality... I only like to create something that satisfies a need and has a purpose.
A little over eight years ago AgenT and I both had clothing boutiques. They were located a block a part from each other. Her's was called DeLovely and mine was Doll Rags. DeLovely was just below my apartment. If she was open while I was walking home I'd go in and visit. On one particular evening I saw her jewelry displayed on a cool silver tree branch. The branches were made of rubber and the base was made of wood painted a shiny silver. I fell in lust and asked her where she has bought it. She replied she found it at Pier One during the holidays a number of years ago. I immediately went home and began a crazy search sesh trying to locate that exact piece. After several hours I deemed it futile and started to figure out how I could replicate it on my own. Shortly thereafter I had created my first jewelry tree. And being the thoughtful gift-giver I am, I decided it would make a beautiful gift. Fast forward about eight years: I've created over two hundred jewelry trees and have since perfected my technique. To this day I have not yet saturated my local market and still receive requests for more, with some people asking for a second or third. Because this has become almost a namesake for my creativity, I am excited to take it to the next level by selling them online to the masses. Below are photos of those I've done in the past. Some recipients were gracious enough to send me a photo of their's in use.
