"That's right I am aging yet again and we are celebrating with a 50's style cocktail party.
We are asking that you do a little research and bring a 50's style finger food platter and/or a cocktail of your choosing.
Please also come dressed to the nines.
Now didn't I promise my little pin ups another excuse to wear their retro fashions? Well now's the time.
Please RSVP by Sunday, December 2nd.
Cheers!"
Food & Beverage: We had a variety of hors' d'oeuvres and a signature cocktail served in hard plastic martini glasses. We had additional bottles of the alcohol and mixers at the bar area and I filled our giant martini glass with small liquor bottles for guests to choose from. Cucumber-Basil infused water was also available for our guests.
Theme: 50's Retro Cocktail Party
Games? No. This time I wanted my guests to just chill and enjoy each other's company.

Threads: On sent Evites I requested my guests to do research and arrive in 1950's cocktail attire. I wore Pinup Couture's Dress in the Tipsy Elephant Print, gifted to me by AgenT as an early birthday gift, with a knee length black petticoat, nude pantyhose with a black backseam, patent leather black pumps, soft pink flower headband, white pearl earrings and my late grandmother's wrapped white pearl necklace.
*** What was extra special to me was two of my girl friends wore my late grandmother's vintage dresses which she wore on two of her wedding anniversaries.
