"Hi, I'm Chucky, and I'm your friend 'till the end! Hidey-ho, ha-ha-ha!"
Chucky from Child’s Play might be a little dollface he is still a BAD GUY and he ain’t no friend of mine.
Bridget Bones's Diary
Chucky from Child’s Play might be a little dollface he is still a BAD GUY and he ain’t no friend of mine.
“Oh! Well, I'm Pennywise, the dancing clown.”
"Georgie, meet Pennywise".
“We all float down here.”
Pennywise the dancing clown is a BAD GUY or is IT a bad girl? The votes are still out on that. Either way, they will clown around with your heart and crawl inside and play with your mind.
Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street may be the man of your dreams, but he is still a BAD GUY who will tear your life apart.

Mini Witch Hat - Mia Paw-Me-Down (Can be seen here)
And we tossed on BB’s Dogula Cape (Can be seen here)
I spent pretty much all day Saturday making those tiny diy witches hats for BB’s Sanderson Sisters toy dolls and while the details are mostly lost in the photo, here’s what I did. Also, I only noticed we forgot to include BB’s witches broom after I told her we got the shot. And yeah, good luck mimicking that stellar catch light and perfectly perked ears. So it is what it is.
I found the witches’ hat template online (here). I decreased its size to 70% and printed it on standard printer paper. I cut those out and used them as my first set of stencils. Then I traced the two pieces on heavier card stock sheets and cut those out. I rolled the pieces around to give them movement. Then I used those cardstock pieces as my new set of stencils and traced them on black glittery adhesive foam sheets (here) and cut those out. I adhered the foam to my cardstock pieces, stuffed the top triangle into the bottom ring, and then used whatever random things I had on hand to decorate. For Mary’s hat, I use some adhesive gold pyramid studs and scrap pieces as stitching for an interesting fashiony detail. Winifred’s hat I wrapped a small piece of a charcoal loofa I had and secured it with black electrical tape and also added the tape and the same gold pyramid studs around the base of her top. I love electrical tape because it looks like leather on small projects. And for Sarah’s hat, I kept it simple. I took a bubble gum pink rose bead I had and colored it with a black sharpie marker then took a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol and stamped the ridges of the flower so it would smear the black marker into the pink and turn it into a gothy deep purple color. Then I just simply hot glued the rose bead to her hat base once it dried. I also added scrap foam pieces to make the back have the appearance of stitches, again a detail you don’t see in a one-dimensional photo. You could use the same template for any size witches hat you’d like by increasing or decreasing the size before printing it out. I found the mini brooms from the fairy/dollhouse section at Michael’s, (here). I was going to make them but my supplies alone would have cost more than $4.00 and they were thee perfect size for these little witches.
We’re celebrating the very long and anticipated second coming of the Sanderson Sisters.
That’s right, the girls are back in town!
Hocus Pocus 2 is premiering today on Disney+. Will you be watching it this evening?

Care Bears live in Care-a-Lot, a faraway place in the clouds that is part of the Kingdom of Caring. On Care Bear Share Your Care Day everyone is asked to spread caring, sharing, love, friendship, acceptance, fun, and happiness all over the world whether that be through love, caring, or sharing with others. It encourages charity, donating, volunteering, kindness, and any other acts of benevolence.
Even though we try to practice caring and sharing every day, today we will help a local charity with their specific needs and give these care bear plushies away to four special people who will treasure them just as I did as a child. We’d love to hear how you shared your care today.

Before I knew of the word charcuterie, we just called it a Janessa Plate. Because an assortment of cheeses, meats, nuts, veggies, and fruits was my go-to when I didn’t want to cook for just myself. So I’d make a fancy-ass Lunchable-style snack plate. We still call it a Janessa Plate in our home but outside and around others, it’s referred to as char-cute-erie.
Is a French term for a branch of cooking devoted to prepared meat products, such as bacon, ham, sausage, terrines, galantines, ballotines, pâtés, and confit, primarily from pork.[1]
Charcuterie is part of the garde manger chef's repertoire. Originally intended as a way to preserve meat before the advent of refrigeration, they are prepared today for their flavors derived from the preservation processes.

It's probably one of the first words you'll learn if you spend any time around Italians, mainly because it will be repeated a lot at every mealtime. Mangia! As you might know, it means 'eat up! '

Below are some photos of BB off-duty just Frenchie living.
Upon reading Marie Kondo's book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering, Sebastian realized Ariel needed to do something about her collection of human junk! These objects were bringing her no joy. Ariel spent some time reflecting on the purpose of all her thingamabobs and finally agreed. Her useless treasures were just collecting barnacles. Ariel, sadly realized she will simply never be a part of that world and it was about time, time for her to Let it Gooo! Let it Goooo! Sorry, wrong story. So off to the Sea Market she, Sebastian, and Flounder went to sell all her gadgets, gizmos, whosits and whatsits galore. Sea you later impractical junk may you become another mermaid’s treasure.

Sometimes the stars align and our timing could not be more perfect. After our golf shoot, my mom told me she was looking for a mini bat and glove because she also thought we needed to do a baseball-themed photo shoot. I said yes please but, I knew it had to be A League of Their Own style and have BB dress up as a Rockford Peach. Mom agreed with that idea and then ghosted me. Ha! Now I already had the costume (A secondhand Poshmark score!) but, I still needed our mini bat. Naturally, I went straight to Chewy.com where I found the perfect set, here. I am not sure if you have noticed, but we always try to incorporate actual bonafide dog toys for our props and if I can’t find it, I will then make it myself. Anyway, back to my story. My props and set were ready to go, I just needed to schedule our publishing date. I chose August 12th and added it to my calendar not thinking there was anything special about the date. Then several weeks ago, while doing some research on the 1992 film and the original AAGPBL Rockford Peaches, I discovered they are bringing back ALOTO. That’s right A League of Their Own will be a series on Amazon Prime and get this, its premiere date is …drum roll…TODAY! Friday, August 12th. I could not have planned this debut any better. A product of the 80s, I was eleven years old when the movie came out. I probably didn’t get all the humor but, I absolutely loved the movie. I would watch it even if it was mid-way through on television if I discovered it while channel surfing. The story is so wonderful, the actors were an absolute dream team and the fact that it was loosely based on a true story fascinated me all the more. So I will definitely check out the new series as well. My brother and I used to collect baseball cards when we were kids. When planning this photo out, I wanted the photo to look like a baseball card, but not just any baseball card, one that was so precious it was protected by a plastic sleeve. I would call the finished photos a home run. Now, Play Ball!
I also found this interesting article comparing the movie to the real Rockford Peaches team.

Oh, but they are going to need all of our help to do so.
Bees are yet another pollinator experiencing the threat of termination, which, would be terribly bad for all of mankind and the planet as a whole. Unfortunately, we lack the ability to go back into the past and redirect their path from extinction. But there are some things we can do to help bring our buzzy friends back.
It’s true, Monarchs do rule, both figuratively and literally. But all fun aside and on a serious note, sadly this North American beauty is an endangered species now facing the very real threat of extinction. What can we do? Well, we can start by planting milkweed plants, the primary source of food for monarchs. Unfortunately, monarchs are not alone, due to hotter temps and dryer weather conditions all butterflies across the globe are facing the same fate. So go visit your local plant shops and pick up some butterfly-loving flower seeds and plant them in your yards. Please check out the website, Save Our Monarchs for more info along with extra tips for you to lend your hand in helping our fluttering friends.
