Our girl, Bridget, is so many wonderful things. She’s a red-pied French Bulldog, she is a snuggle monster and might I add champion bed hog, she is the chillest, and the sweetest. She is gentle (for the most part) with her sister, Sofia, and kitty sisters, Poppy and Perla, and with her toys. She is an eager greeter and loves meeting new people and seeing her favorite friends. She is smart, attentive, and aims to please. She loves the sunshine, warmth, and bathing out on the patio or on her “tanning bed.” She loves to hear the words, SNACK! Outside! WALK? EAT. and Food. And the words, “Do you wanna …” will always make her ears perk and grab her attention. She is a professional model, adored by many. Among those things, and so much more, Bridget is now TEN years old. Yesterday, we celebrated our fifth Gotcha Day. And today, we are celebrating our girl’s New Year.

The 90s sure were some wild times.
I was a little nine-year-old girl when the 90s began, and then turned nineteen only a few weeks before the decade ended.
I thought it would be fun to participate in the internet trend. But rather than dig out old photos of me from back then, I decided to have my girls recreate with a few snapshots, capturing my life living in the 90s.
I know we’re technically late to the party. But our schedule was already booked, and I thought the Friday before Mother’s Day would be a great time slot to sneak it in.

New nutcracker-themed Frenchie Bulldog gear called for an impromptu photoshoot. I bought that toy a couple of years ago and have had it in my head that it was a nutcracker, not a toy soldier. Hahaha. Oh goodness, it’ll do.
Also, I could not separate the models; they kept huddling together. I was trying to depict the known image of all three characters standing side by side. But as a dog photographer, you have to create magic out of whatever you can get. I am never disappointed with our killshots.
